Celebrating 50 years of deadly
Fifty Years of Deadly is a marker, not just of time passed, but of the momentum still building.
It’s proof of what our people build when culture leads and community comes first.
MTWAC NAIDOC week celebrations are open to community to gather. We gather at Noonameena which means ‘our place’.
We start with a welcome and a smoking ceremony. People have the opportunity to learn how to string and make music sticks.
We share a cultural lunch as well.
This is a free event open to anyone who wants to share our culture.
