Working Together

Walk and Work With Us

MTWAC is a not-for-profit charitable organisation committed to strengthening the social, cultural, environmental and economic wellbeing of Tasmanian Aboriginal people and Country. We welcome discussions with individuals, families, businesses, philanthropic organisations and community partners who are interested in supporting our vision through the donation of land, property, financial contributions or other forms of investment.

Working together with MTWAC helps build long-term organisational sustainability, strengthens our capacity to care for Country, supports the delivery of cultural, environmental and community programs, and creates opportunities for future generations. Contributions may assist with land stewardship, cultural heritage protection, language revitalisation, youth development, environmental management, economic development initiatives and the expansion of Aboriginal-led programs and services.

MTWAC welcomes conversations with landholders who wish to explore opportunities for returning land to Traditional Owners or establishing collaborative arrangements that support cultural, environmental and community outcomes. Returning land to Aboriginal ownership and stewardship can play an important role in recognising cultural connections to Country and supporting the ongoing care and management of significant landscapes.
